Indian forces are engaged in every kind of war crimes in Occupied Kashmir while international community is acting as a silent spectator over human rights abuses in the held area. According to media of JI at Mansoora Lahore, Jamaat-e-Islami chief Senator Sirajul Haq said this while addressing "Save Kashmir March" in Gilgit on Thursday.

A large number of people holding placards and banners took part in the rally and vowed to continue their support for Kashmiris. Other speakers included JI AJK head Dr Khalid Mahmood, JI GB head Mushtaq Advocate and JI Youth AJK President Nisar Shaiq.

Siraj said Indian premier must be tested for war crimes and human rights abuses, adding the abuses against Muslims were committed in Gujrat when Modi was CM of the Indian state and now Indian forces engaged in worst human rights violations in Kashmir on the order of Indian PM. He said the Modi's government was pushing the region into war as there was no end to New Delhi's crime against humanity.

The JI leader said millions of Kashmiris were spending life like prisoners as they became hostages of Indian forces. He said two months were passed in curfew, creating a humanitarian crisis in the IHK. He said food, medicines and other basic commodities were running short and people were starving to death. He appealed the world community to shun its silence and force India to stop its violence in Kashmir.
